Valley News! BIG BIG NEWS!!!!

Since, the start I made the comic free. Entertainment should not break our bank accounts. However I must face the fact that producing this entertainment does take a toll on more than just my bank account. Sure I spend money on the supplies needed to create the hard copies of the art.. and yes I do pay for hosting so that my files are on my own server space rather than blogger's space. But creating this comic takes time. Lots of my time, and with each issue I am putting more time and more work into the final product.

March will be the final 100% Free issue. March will see the start of a Five part plot that will affect the future of the comic, and if you wish to see it in its fullest you will be asked to purchase the comic on Kindle.

But why?
Like I said before, the comic takes a lot of work. Yes I enjoy the work and I enjoy putting out this comic to my fans, but in the end I wish to take it further, bigger, and better, and for that I do need compensation for my time and work.

2.99 seems like a lot.
If 2.99 makes or breaks you you probably have bigger problems than not being able to read my comic, and you should probably get off the internet and fix what ever it is that is putting you in such dire straights. I wish you the best of luck.

Will we still get some of the comic for free?
YES!!! I don't want anyone not knowing what they are buying. I will start this sales model by giving the first 10 pages for free on the blog as I have been doing. But after that you will need to buy the issue. The remainder of the month will be dedicated to putting out news and other teasers for the current issue.

I don't have a Kindle :(
I understand that everyone doesn't have a Kindle. However I am willing to bet that if you are reading this post that you have either a Laptop, desktop, tablet, or smart phone. And Amazon makes Kindle Apps for all of those devices. Best part is; the app is FREE!

Understand that I could have done a Kickstarter or Gofundme, and begged for some exuberant amount of money with the promise of cheap rewards if I get funded. I could have opened some print shop store like Zazzle and hoped that people would want to buy over priced coffee mugs with my characters on them. I may indeed make merchandise at some point but as of right now I am not going that route. Right now this seems like the best thing to do. You pay 2.99 and you get something for your money.. not a few days later when you receive that overpriced mouse pad.. not in a month or more when I've got my funding and have sent out my "rewards" to my backers, but right then and there! You get the issue on your Kindle or other device.

Make no mistake. I am glad to have you all as my readers and I hope to see even more readers in the future! There is more story to tell and I wish you all to come along on this journey with me.
